  • Annual Parish Meeting 2017

    Eynsford Parish Council held its Annual Parish Meeting on 26th May in the village hall. There was a good turn out from members of the public with many local agencies having stalls including: Kent Air Ambulance, The Alzheimer's Society, Rural Age Concern, Community Warden Service, Kent Police, Kent Fire and Rescue and more. The local history society put on a small display about local transport in Eynsford and Farningham throughout history. The village hall trustees has draft plans for the future village hall. We were delighted to welcome the High Sheriff of Kent George Jessel to present the Kent Association for Local Council's Community Award to Pauline Penney. Pauline was presented with the award in recognition of her work with Eynsford in Bloom. Mrs Sarah Boyle, Chair of Eynsford Parish Council gave a short speech about the work of the council and also thanked the members of the council for their work over the past year.
