Eynsford Gets Gold!

Eynsford has received a Gold Award for its entry into the South and South East in Bloom competition.
Eynsford in Bloom volunteers have spent around 4000 hours this year working in our village on floral displays, cultivation, maintenance, tidying, watering recycling, composting and more. They have worked with a variety of community groups including Rainbows, Brownies and Guides. They have also worked with local businesses and residents to improve the look of the village.
For the last ten years, Eynsford has received a Silver Gilt Award, and the volunteers are delighted to have finally made the Gold grade!
In addition, Eynsford was given the County Award for Kent for getting the highest number of points of all the Kent entries!
The parish council is very grateful for all the hard work carried out by Eynsford in Bloom and regularly makes a donation towards its costs.
