John Harris - Former Councillor

We were very sorry to hear of the death of former parish councillor and chair John Harris earlier this month. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
John was a parish councillor from 1991 to 2012, 21 years, and served as chair for 12 years from 1995 - 2007!! He played an important role in shaping and looking after our village during that time. John was also a long serving member of the Riverside Players and was involved in many village activities.
He moved away from Eynsford to the New Forest some years ago.
John's funeral will be held at St Saviours Church, Brockenhurst, Hampshire, at 12:30, on Friday 4th April if you wish to attend.
