More support for The Space

We are pleased to announce that we were successful in our bid for a grant of £1000 from the 'Cost of Living' fund managed by KCC and KALC. 

We applied for funding to give to The Space, an excellent community initiative set up by Darent Valley Community Church with help from lots of other volunteers.

The Space provides a free, warm space in our community together with free breakfast and lunch every Wednesday. There are also activities and opportunities to get advice. It enables local residents to meet up with others in a safe space. Many of those who attend live alone, have limited mobility or have caring responsibilities.

DVCC Paston Adrian Elms says "We are delighted with grant and would like to say a big thank you to EPC for their wonderful support of The Space with their latest donation. The Space continues to be a key part of forming social cohesion and meeting needs in the area."

The parish council is delighted to be able to support the continuation of this excellent service.
