SDC Local Plan Consultation

In July 2018 Sevenoaks District Council started their consultation on their Local Plan, in particular, plans for future housing as required by the government.
A large development at Pedham Place was put forward which would span Farningham and Eysnford parishes and would include 2500 houses plus other amenities. This site is part of the Green Belt and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Eynsford Parish Council objected to this development in the first stage of the consultation in September 2018. In December, Sevenoaks District Council published its proposed Local Plan to go forward to the Planning Inspector. In this, Pedham Place is still included, but this time as a proposed development site. Eynsford Parish Council have again sent in an objection to the inclusion of this site, and encourage you to do so if you also agree that it is unsuitable for development.
