Coronavirus / Covid-19 - Support Area
Eynsford Parish Council is working with Farningham Parish Council to co-ordinate support for those in our villages who are vulnerable, self-isolating or have other pressures, such as key workers or those on low incomes.
Part of this support will be through a network of volunteers who will offer practical assistance such as shopping, collecting prescriptions or a chat.
Other support will be through information and useful links which you can find here.
This page will be updated regularly as new information is received.
You can contact us on info@eynsfordparishcouncil.org.uk
E & F Coronavirus Support Network
Eynsford and Farningham Parish Councils are working together to co-ordinate the volunteers in our villages and to make sure that all areas are covered. We will cascade useful information to the volunteers and also respond to queries and refer to appropriate support services as required. Our central information point will be www.eynsfordparishcouncil.org.uk so that it can been seen by those not on social media. We are aware that not everyone is on facebook or online. Please share this information with others you think could help. We are aware that lots of people have already volunteered and have started sharing information in their areas and we want to work with you.
We have now set up a group of volunteers covering all the streets in Eynsford and Farningham. Volunteers should contact Sevenoaks District Council to ensure they are registered to help.
Volunteers can help with shopping, collecting prescriptions and other essentials for those that cannot leave their homes. If you need help, please get in touch at info@eynsfordparishcouncil.org.uk and we can put you in touch with the volunteer for your street. You can also register your need via Sevenoaks District Council and they will pass your details back to us and our network. Please note that if you call the parish office and leave a message, it may not be picked up for a few days- its quicker to email.
Thank you.
